SAFFRON was incorporated in 1998, when David Robinson broke away from a National Provider of Facilities and Support Services together with a small team to make better use of the skills they had acquired in that organisation in the field of Response Maintenance Management, and Refurbishment Contracts for Local Authorities and Housing Associations.

Since then SAFFRON has grown steadily and divisions have been established in the fields of Residential Housebuilding, Small Works and Extensions, Electrical Contracting, Plumbing and Central Heating. The core business of residential property refurbishment has continued to develop with a number of long term contracts and partnering arrangements in place. Turnover has increased to £3m per annum.

SAFFRON's mission is to achieve recognition for quality, efficiency, and innovation through teamwork, and to provide a caring and supportive workplace for its employees and sub-contractors.

SAFFRON operate from their warehouse and office suite at the Lansbury Estate, Woking.
